Massive joy as Akwa Ibom couple welcomes first child after 16 years of marriage

After 16 years of marriage and waiting on the Lord, an Akwa Ibom couple, Mr and Mrs Godwin Essien, has finally welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby boy, Inimfon-Abasi.
The couple dedicated their cute son last Sunday St. John Catholic Church along Abak Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, and their joy knew no bounds even as a lot of people celebrated with them.
The baby’s mother, Mrs. Mercy Essien, is an active chorister of both Our Lady Queen of Peace Choir, St.John Parish Choir and Uyo Catholic Diocesan Choir, as well as a former member of the defunct St. John Bosco Choir (St. John Bosco Alumni) among others.
As Inimfon-Abasi was being dedicated to God, members of the church prayed God to guide him to grow in health and vitality, wisdom, protection, while asking for open doors unto the family.
