Eid-el Kabir: Ukana Poly Rector salutes muslim faithful, calls for peace, unity

The Rector, Federal Polytechnic ,Ukana, Mrs. Eduma Essien, has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el Kabir celebration, urging Nigerians to embrace peace, unity, and mutual understanding as essential ingredients for national development.

In her goodwill message, Mrs. Essien described Eid-el Kabir as a season of sacrifice, love, obedience, and devotion to God, stressing that the lessons of the celebration should inspire citizens to promote harmony and selfless service to humanity.

The Rector called on Nigerians, irrespective of ethnic, religious, or political affiliations, to work together for the progress and stability of the country.
According to her, national development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace, tolerance, and unity.
She noted that the current challenges facing the nation require collective efforts and a renewed commitment to nation-building, adding that citizens must shun acts capable of causing division and insecurity.

Mrs. Essien also encouraged Muslims to continue praying for the peace, progress, and economic prosperity of Nigeria while extending love and support to the less privileged during the festive season.

The Rector further wished all Muslim faithful a joyful and hitch-free Eid-el Kabir celebration.
