The member representing Itu/Ibiono Ibom federal constituency in the National Assembly, Barr Ime Okon, has congratulated Governor Umo Eno on his victory at the Governorship Election Tribunal in Akwa Ibom State.
Okon, in a statement on Friday captioned, “As the court affirms the people’s mandate”, said the victory reflected the will of all Akwa Ibom people who defied all odds and challenges and voted for the PDP and Governor Umo Eno as their choice during the March 18, 2023 election.
“Today’s victory further affirms the fact that Akwa Ibom people had through their votes on March 18, 2023, largely accepted to entrust you with the mandate of stirring-on the Akwa Ibom ship”.
Barr Okon called on all Akwa Ibom people to continue to pray for Governor Eno’s success and for all other political parties to team up with the governor to deliver impacting governance to the people through the ARISE agenda.
