Pastor William F. Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, on Tuesday, arrived Akwa Ibom State with his wife, Mrs. Esther Kumuyi, for a five-day mega crusade.
With the theme “Fresh Anointing for a New Beginning,” the Global Crusade with Kumuyi will kick off on Wednesday, January 28, and conclude on Sunday, February 1, at the Deeper Life Campground in Nung Uyo-Idoro, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Upon his arrival, the 84-year-old Pastor Kumuyi was welcomed at the Victor Attah International Airport by a group of Christian faithful, including the leadership of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
Addressing a press conference shortly after his arrival, Kumuyi declared that there would be a harvest of miracles during the programme, as God would reveal Himself.
“We have assurances of the Lord that all that He has done before; he is still able to do, and he is willing to do.
“In other places, we have seen all miracles you can think about – from transformation of the human hearts to total deliverance from demonic challenges; healing of every kind of diseases, even cancer patients.
“The people of Akwa Ibom have high level of faith. And I have seen active faith, and God always honours faith”.
Pastor Kumuyi said the leadership of CAN and its affiliates had been working out schedules and strengthening collaboration with Deeper Life Bible Church to ensure the success of the programme.
He said with this collaboration, Christians from all denominations in Akwa Ibom and beyond are invited to attend the fresh anointing, while also urging them to come with readiness to be part of a new beginning with God.
He urged the church to continue on the path of righteousness, insisting that God had given Christians the power to change all situations on earth.
