• VDM on uniform with school children during the protest at the front of FCT Ministers’ office in Abuja
Controversial social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has staged a protest outside the gate of the FCT Minister in Abuja.
According to PUNCH Online, primary school teachers in the FCT have been on strike since March 24, 2025, now exceeding 90 days, due to the Area Council Chairmen’s failure to implement the new national minimum wage of N70,000.
On Monday, VeryDarkMan gathered schoolchildren in their uniforms and conducted a makeshift class, teaching them the alphabet.
“S for Suegbe, T for Tinubu, W for Wike,” he called out, with the children echoing his words.
When approached for comment, VeryDarkMan declined to speak, stating that the Minister’s gate would serve as the new classroom for the children.
At the time of this report, the students were on break, enjoying rice and chicken provided by VeryDarkMan and his friends.
