The Grand Reception: Appearances versus Reality

The elaborate rally and reception that heralded your formal entry into the APC was, without doubt, a spectacle of political might. The presence of several Local Government Chairmen, House of Assembly members, House of Representatives members, and two Senators, all defecting alongside you, painted a picture of unity and strength. The optics, amplified by the enthusiastic crowd and the symbolism of the APC broom and muffler, suggested that you had successfully transplanted your formidable political structure into the new party.

There is growing evidence that some of those who publicly pledged allegiance to you and the APC are, in truth, harbouring alternative loyalties and clandestine agendas.

In this context, the importance of consolidating your base cannot be overstated. The perception of unity and strength must be matched by the reality of genuine commitment and shared purpose.
