2027: Councillor congratulates Gov Eno, Akpabio, others for securing APC tickets

The Councillor representing Ward 8 in Ini Local Government Legislative Council, Hon. (Ukai) Ekikere Joshua Udo, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Governor Umo Eno for emerging as the APC governorship candidate for the upcoming 2027 election in Akwa Ibom State.
Speaking at the Ward Centre in Itak Ikot Obio Ise, Ini LGA, following the announcement of Governor Eno’s victory in the party’s gubernatorial primary election held statewide on Thursday, Hon. Udo described the governor’s emergence as a testament to the trust placed in him by APC supporters and the people of Akwa Ibom.

He commended party members for their peaceful conduct, loyalty, and unity throughout the primary election process.
“On behalf of my family and the people of Ward 8, I congratulate His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, on being named the flag bearer of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), for next year’s governorship election in Akwa Ibom,” stated Ekikere Joshua.
“I firmly believe that the governor’s vision for the ongoing growth and development his administration has brought in Akwa Ibom State will benefit everyone in the long run.”
Additionally, Hon. Ekikere Joshua congratulated Senate President Godswill Akpabio for his election as the APC candidate for Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ukpong-Udo for emerging as the candidate for Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency, and Hon. Lawrence Udoide for being named the party’s candidate for Ini State Constituency in the 2027 elections.
He noted that Senator Akpabio, Ukpong-Udo, and Udoide have made the people proud through their empowerment and development programmes in their respective constituencies and they deserve reelection and support.
The Chairman, Committee on Chieftaincy Matters of the 8th Ini Legislative Council noted that the strong turnout of party supporters at polling centers across Ini local government area during the primary elections reflected their massive support for Pastor Eno and their confidence in his ability to build upon the successes of his administration.
He encouraged APC members to maintain their support for the party as preparations intensifies for the 2027 general elections.
