Pan African Comprehensive School hosts 2nd annual interactive session for SSS3 students

The Pan African Comprehensive Secondary School in Uyo, last week, concluded its 2nd Annual Interactive Session, a crucial event aimed at equipping its SS3 students with the tools and mindset needed to excel in the upcoming 2026 external examinations.
Held on Friday, February 20, in the school’s Assembly Hall, the session, themed “2026 External Examinations: Achieving Excellence beyond Limitations,” brought together students, teachers, parents, and school management for a day of insightful discussions and strategic guidance.
Speaking at the event, the school’s principal, Mr. Aniebiet Udo, emphasised the collective commitment of the school community to promoting academic success and holistic development among its graduating students.


Mr Udo encouraged teachers to maintain high teaching standards and motivate students to focus on their studies in order to achieve excellence, adding that the involvement of parents, guardians, and the school management team as key players highlights the collaborative effort needed to support the students.
Key members of the management team present at the event included Mr. Uko Marcus (Vice President of Academics), Mrs. Idorenyin Akpaeti (Vice President of Administration), Elder Daniel Bassey (Bursar), Mrs. Gladys Awajiogak (Vice President of Welfare), and Mr. Pius Ignatius (Vice President of Special Duties), underscoring the institutional support for the initiative.
The Director of Servicom at the University of Uyo, Professor Unyime Robson Etuk, delivered the keynote address and set an inspiring tone for the day. His presentation resonated with the overall theme, emphasising the importance of striving for excellence despite potential challenges.
The session further explored critical areas through two sub-themes: “Effective Study and Reading Skills,” presented by Professor Nsikak Idiong, the Head of the Department of Journalism and Media Studies at the University of Uyo, and “Achieving Excellence through Self-Discipline,” presented by Mrs. Sonia Umoh, a seasoned educator.
One of the parents who spoke at the occasion, Engr. Albert Asuquo, acknowledged that the 2nd Annual Interactive Session of the school demonstrated Pan African Comprehensive Secondary School’s commitment to nurturing well-prepared and high-achieving students who are ready to face their academic futures with confidence.
