The Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of Federal Polytechnic Ukana have congratulated the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno PhD on his three years of impactful and visionary leadership in the state.
In a goodwill message signed by the Rector of the institution, Mrs. Eduma Enobong Essien, the Polytechnic described Governor Umo Eno as an education-loving governor whose administration has continued to demonstrate strong commitment to human capital development through the implementation of the ARISE Agenda.
The institution noted that Akwa Ibom State has continued to witness steady growth, infrastructural transformation and socioeconomic advancement under the governor’s leadership, adding that the achievements recorded within the past three years have positioned the state on the path of sustainable development.
Federal Polytechnic Ukana particularly commended the education component of the ARISE Agenda, describing it as a bold and progressive initiative capable of empowering the younger generation and strengthening the future of the state through quality education and skills acquisition.
The Polytechnic further pledged its continued support for the ARISE Agenda by sustaining academic programmes and initiatives that would improve the socioeconomic wellbeing of Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria at large through manpower development, innovation and entrepreneurship education.
The institution wished Governor Umo Eno continued wisdom, strength and success as he continues to serve the people of Akwa Ibom State.
