• AKS Commissioner for Education, Mrs Idongesit Etiebet & the Rector, College of Education, Afaha Nsit, Prof Daniel Udo, at the meeting
As part of efforts to implement the A.R.I.S.E Agenda of the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, in the State Education sector, the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Idongesit Etiebet has yesterday met with the Rector and Management staff of the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, as well as the Provost and Management staff of the Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afaha Nsit.
The Honourable Commissioner also met with the Vice Chancellor along with the deputy vice chancellor of the Akwa Ibom State University, Ikot Akpaden, and equally met with the Rector and Management staff of the Akwa Ibom State College of Science and Technology, Nung Ukim.
The meetings also gave the Honourable Commissioner and managers of tertiary institutions in the State the opportunity of keeping abreast of matters regarding the institutions, staff and students with focus on enhancing the educational opportunities in the State.
