AKHA Speaker lauds AKISIEC, voters over peaceful LG election in Abak

Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly (AKHA), Rt. Hon. (Elder) Udeme Otong, has praised the Akwa Ibom State Independent Electoral Commission (AKISIEC) for conducting a transparent and peaceful Local Government Election in Abak Local Government Area.
After casting his vote at Primary School, Abak Itenge, Ward 5, Unit 001 around 11:09 AM, Otong shared his satisfaction with the electoral process in his unit and throughout the Abak Local Government Area.
He also expressed gratitude to the electorate for their significant turnout in fulfilling their civic responsibilities.
He attributed the high voter turnout at his polling unit to the positive impact of Governor Umo Eno’s administration, particularly in the areas of road infrastructure and human capacity development.
Speaker Otong expressed hope that the election results would accurately reflect the will of the people.
In a similar vein, Deaconess Margaret Udeme Otong, the Speaker’s wife, who also voted at the same unit, commended the peaceful nature of the elections in the area.
Voters at the unit, including the presiding Bishop of Christ Faith Church, Abasiakan Otong, Israel Emmanuel, Madam Iquo Friday Jonah, Odudu Abasi Akpan, and party agent Israel Emmanuel, also voiced their confidence in the electoral process.
